About our group:

As a member of the Quality Test team reporting to the Sr Engineering Test Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing product qualification on storage-based systems. We are part of a fast-paced, global test team with the objective to provide support for industry standard applications and operating systems. You will work closely with third party vendors and the development team as part of the compatibility or certifications. As a member of the Quality test team, you will use a variety of skills and will have the opportunity to explore and use new and emerging technologies. We are looking for intelligent, organized, driven, and effective team members

About the role - you will:

  • Be responsible for planning and executing customer-based testing on our storage-based products
  • Be part of a fast-paced, global test team where you will be responsible for performing software and hardware compatibility/certifications of supported operating systems contributing to the delivery of high-quality products
  • Have the opportunity to assist in the testing of Seagate solutions and systems
  • Develop and execute software and hardware plans
  • Look for improvements and efficiencies in processes and everyday tasks
About you:

Your experience includes:

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Storage, SAS, iSCSI, FC protocols
  • Experience building, managing, and monitoring test systems and storage solutions (software and hardware)
  • MS Windows, RHEL, SLES, Veeam, Corvault, VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix
  • Networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, network switching)
  • Security - HTTPS, SSH, Penetration testing, dynamic and static scanning
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Information Technology and 5+ years' experience or Master's Degree and 3+ years' experienceor a PhD and 0+ years'experienceor the equivalent combined education and experience

Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated base salary range for this position: $75,462- $110,007.Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
