The Sales Operations Account Management team is a dynamic and highly motivated group who owns product demand planning and fulfillment processes for assigned accounts. We are the focal point of contact to bridge Seagate customers and business units. We engage customer requests and regularly funnel communication to appropriate business groups for solutions.

The Channel Account Manager plays a critical role in ensuring operational and financial success for Seagate. You will perform various roles focused on the distribution of enterprise, commercial, and/or consumer product lines. You will:
* Act as the focal point in communication and execution of sales order fulfillment to meet Seagate's overall financial goals
* Analyze forecast demand, inventory, and customer sell through to develop and manage weekly and quarterly demand / supply plans
* Focus your results on supporting Seagate revenue goals while minimizing inventory liability
* Evaluate risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate said risk
* Analyze customer demand, purchase orders, and backlog on a daily/weekly basis
* Identify problem areas and drive appropriate customer engagement and internal functional groups to course correct.
* Coordinate closely with cross functional teams to ensure supply plans support direct & indirect customer needs and channel weekly sales-out while maintaining appropriate channel inventory levels
* Coordinate with Sales and Product Line Management teams to set launch quantities and ensure smooth product transitions
* Engage with Sales Operations analyst to understand and explain demand variations and dynamics and to support complete order fulfillment
* Partner with logistics teams to determine and execute optimal supply chain for all product shipments, incorporating both cost and customer service metrics.

* Exposure to forecasting that supports business needs
* Analysis skills demonstrated in a similar or related role
* Excel capabilities which include experience with pivot tables, sum if type formulas, and V-lookups
* Technical knowledge of and /or exposure with CRM tools
* MS Office intermediate level or higher
