Seagate is looking for a Firmware Engineer in Shakopee, MN design center.
Our team develops and maintains firmware for processor/SoC initialization, memory management, power management, stack and kernel operations, file system, debug information logging, and other components which provide the core firmware architecture for disc drives and storage devices.
This role is critical in supporting teams across the organization to build highly optimized firmware designs for storage products. The candidate should possess software programming and debugging skills with the use of hardware andsoftware tools, and test equipment to deliver high quality, high-performance firmware for Seagate.
Our Shakopee campus is located 25 minutes southwest of Minneapolis in a setting with a rural vibe - it overlooks a horse racing track and stables, yet it has great entertainment venues close by as well.
