This team contributes to the head and disk design for making large capacity disk drives with this latest technology - Design verification, failure analysis, problem solving, data analysis and hands on lab measurements. • Optimize the head/disk mechanical interface.
• Bench level testing of hard drives
• Analyze large data sets of hard drive parametrics.
• Work both independently and with a team.

• A proficient experimentalist
• Ability to process and analyze large data sets
• Program in Python or Matlab
• Hands on failure analysis skills
• Willing to learn
• Work in a self-directed manor

• Familiarity with Tribology principles
• Hands on failure analysis skills
• Familiar with Oscilloscopes and lab equipment
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, Control theory or other related degree
• Some lab equipment experience
