About our group:

The EDS Manufacturing Test Process group is a highly motivated team that delivers manufacturing test process support for all EDS products. Our mission is to provide end to end capability and support to all factories building and supporting EDS products.

This internship will give the candidate an opportunity to work on the enhancement of a manufacturing pilot line utilized in the manufacture of storage systems. The role will expose the candidate to the importance of manufacturing from a business and engineering perspective.

About the role - you will:
  • Work with a talented group of engineers on pilot enhancement projects.
  • Hands on work with storage systems and test infrastructure
  • Learn about storage systems technology
  • Participate in factory/manufacturing meetings
About you:
  • Have a passion and curiosity for cloud systems storage problems and solutions.
  • Are energetic, self-driven, and a team-oriented individual.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are detail oriented and passionate about quality, testability, and maintainability of the solutions you create.

Your experience includes:
  • Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or other related degree and enrolled in fall 2022 courses
  • Familiarity with Linux OS
  • Experience with Python programming language

Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated base hourly range for this position: $18-$24.50. Actual hourly range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
