About our group:

The EDS Manufacturing Test Process group is a highly motivated team that delivers manufacturing test process support for all EDS products. Our mission is to provide end to end capability and support to all factories building and supporting EDS products.


In this role you will be working with a global engineering team that develops software solutions utilized in the manufacture of storage solutions. This role will expose the candidate to the storage business and engineering contributions to the business as well as the critical importance of engineering design in the manufacturability of products.

About the role - you will:

  • Develop/Enhance manufacturing software changes
  • Hands on work with storage systems and test infrastructure
  • Learn about storage systems technology
  • Participate in factory/manufacturing meetings
About you:

  • You have a passion and curiosity for cloud systems storage problems and solutions.
  • You are energetic, self-driven, and a team-oriented individual.
  • You have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are detail oriented and passionate about code development, quality, testability, and maintainability of the solutions you create.
Your experience includes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or Computer Science and 0+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience
  • Familiarity with Linux OS
  • Experience with Python programming language

Colorado's 2021 Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) requires we inform you of the estimated base salary range for this position: $57,000-81,500. Actual salary range is based on fair market value of the role in the geography in which you live based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
