About the team:

The MIT Directory Services team comprises of Active Directory engineers tasked with managing all aspects of FIS-MIT's and our clients' AD infrastructure and associated components. These components include all Active Directory containers, Group Policies, DFS, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, MIM, internal DNS, PKI and AD LDS.

What you will be doing:

  • Architecture, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure for large and small-scale client environments.

  • Architecture, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft Azure AD and O365 infrastructure for large and small-scale client environments.

  • Architecture, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft ADFS, PKI

  • Collaborate directly with clients and support groups to troubleshoot AD authentication, AADConnect, DNS, DFS, Group Policy, Microsoft Server OS, network, etc.

  • Participate in project planning, client on-boarding, domain migrations and stabilization Production support environment with rotating On-Call,

  • System backup, restore and disaster recovery procedures, Security, vulnerability, and patch management.

  • Evaluation and implementation of new technologies with emphasis on automation

What you bring:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (Forest, Domains, AD Partitions, FSMO roles,

  • Trusts, Sites, AD replication, DNS, ADAM, AD Backup/Restore, Group Policy, share/NTFS permissions, etc) and file replication mechanism (NTFRS, DFS-R).

  • Good understanding of the network and authentication protocols (SMB/CIFS, RPC, LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM, etc). Good understanding of security principles (User profiles, authentication, authorization, PKI: EFS/SmartCard/Certificates...)

  • Strong knowledge of five or more of the following: Windows 2008-2019 Active Directory Infrastructure (all aspects) Windows 2008-2019 Active Directory Administration & Delegation Active Directory Domain migration tools (ADMT, Quest, Binary Tree, etc) Windows Server 2008-2019 Operating System Microsoft Azure AD and O365Windows scripting (PowerShell, etc) Microsoft Group Policy Public Key Certificate Infrastructure ADFS Infrastructure Microsoft DNS Infrastructures Microsoft ILM/FIM/MIM Server Virtualized environments (VMWare, HyperV) Disaster Recovery software & processes

  • Relevant Microsoft certifications are also highly desirable, but not required.
