About the Role:

Develops and manages a high-performance Labeling team focusing on customer needs, compliance, and labeling quality. This person will be viewed as a leader or expert in QSR and ISO/MDD/MDR standards within Labeling content development, constantly promoting awareness of best industry practices and making appropriate decisions daily.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality.
  • Ensures all direct reports are aware of their commitment to patient safety and product quality, are current with their training requirements, and understand and comply with all other work regulations.
  • Understands, maintains, and implements quality engineering systems and practices to meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manages and co-ordinates the activities of the Labeling Group to ensure that all deliverables associated with the finished good device, supports the Manufacturing/Product Development/Regulatory and R&D functions.
  • Ensures that all labeling and packaging components of the finished good device meet the required Healthcare standards. i.e.MDD/MDR/ISO13485/CFR801/EN980 etc.
  • Helps serve as a quality representative for the department in all internal/external audits as a functional expert.
  • Co-ordinate the work activities within the various work teams and ensure adequate resources are available to meet customer expectations.
  • Maintains and enhances cross-functional /site team relationships.
  • Support new technologies.
  • Is an effective people leader, resulting in a motivated high-performance team.
  • Provides direction and support to subordinates based on general policies and management guidance.
  • Responsible for performing performance appraisals for all reporting staff.
  • Responsible for ensuring the department operates within a set budget.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, equivalent combination of education and experience considered
