Position Description

Midland Mortgage- Credit Disputed department is responsible for insuring we report accurate credit reporting each month on our borrowers. If a borrower has questions or disputes regarding what we reported, we will receive a credit dispute. This position will help review and respond to Credit Disputes. This position works with several areas in the company to research disputes and identify a resolution. The individual will learn the Credit Reporting Resource Guide and Fair Credit Reporting Act regulations in order to successfully research and respond to disputes. This position works with Credit Reporting Agencies to ensure we are providing responses timely.

Position Requirements

Candidate must possess at least 1 year experience working in a fast-paced office environment, where they are performing detailed and quality focused work. Preference will be given to those with previous mortgage servicing or credit disputes experience.

  • Applicants should possess strong organizational and communication skills
  • Be detail oriented
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic
  • Have the ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Basic mortgage servicing knowledge is preferred but not required
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel is preferred

** This position is onsite in the Oklahoma City office not offering hybrid/ remote schedules.
