Location: Green Bay, WI

Shift: 1st Shift

Work model: Hybrid

Schedule: Full-time; Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Schneider is looking for a detail-oriented Buyer to be accountable for timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services in accordance with corporate policies and procedures. You will be responsible for the purchasing requisitions queue, creation of purchase orders and reviewing of reports for the department. You will also lead the process for products and services that are important to the organization's operation.
About the role:
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and internal customers
  • Understand internal customer's expectations in order to provide cost effective/best value solutions
  • Negotiate purchases for products and services that meet the organizational needs
  • Reconcile invoices with suppliers, Accounts Payable and internal customers

Ideal candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. One to two years relevant experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem solving skills
