Position Description

Medical Coding Consultant for Phoenix-328065
Description
Responsibilities:
1. Integral part of the Lifeprint Coding Team, interacting as needed to ensure proper coding of member visits.
2. Develop, implement and evaluate educational programs and tools for Lifeprint providers to improve clinical data quality
3. Conduct data analyses to evaluate documentation trends for reporting purposes
4. Develop clinic and provider profiles to provide coding feedback to improve clinical data quality
Works closely with Lifeprint Chief Medical Officer and local staff to ensure a solid physician and clinical staff educational program.

Qualifications
* Must be able to work at the following location: 1838 West Parkside Lane, Phoenix, AZ 85027
* Must have reliable transportation in order to travel up to 30 miles from the above office location 70% - 100% of the time
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
* Coding certification from AHIMA, AAPC or either accredited institution
